This is more the thought that Leon should come to his senses and realize Claire, though not as 'hot and mysterious' as Ada, would probably be a wiser long-term choice for him.
...Plus I have personal reasons for liking this pairing more. ; )

And again, I know what you mean since that's the parts they've shown in the story, but it's just fan fun to play with how relationships could develop deeper one way or another.
Actually, it's looking a lot like 6 will have a good deal more romance - developing the relationship between Leon and Ada that pitches him a bit against Chris after she messes things up and Leon defends her. Can't say I look forward to that, though 6'll hopefully be good all the same.
And I know what you're saying about Sheva and Chris - I personally don't prefer that pairing because I do see Chris with Jill as being more long-term since they've been partners so long - and I just plain like it better. To me Leon and Angela or Ashley would be more comparable to Chris and Sheva.. Claire seems more a good match to Leon (completely in my opinion, of course) because they've been through it from the start together and were there for each other. ..I don't know - maybe I just have a soft spot for the whole 'partner' relationship thing. ; p
And yes, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion of course, just as I have mine. : ) I don't understand people getting so worked up (to where they're actually angry and yelling, etc. - not just discussing) in arguments with each other over pairings, etc. - as I said before, it's just fan fun - people do/feel what they like. That's half the fun of it! : )
